In this class we will give you useful information that works. We want you to have the best flute students possible.
Our Music Educators’ Workshop is open to all band directors, private teachers, and music education students.
We welcome all who are curious about improving their teaching skills and working with flute students.
About this Class
Participants will learn how to address flute skills with their students whether they are beginners or more advanced players who need refinement. We are open to gearing the class to the needs of the participants. If you have questions, ask!
Participants will also be introduced to concepts of Body Mapping and Alexander Technique to improve their own physical use and to share with their students. Benefits include: better breathing, fluid technique, less pain and fatigue, and an overall sense of freedom and ease.
Our Flexible Schedule
Participants will attend daily pedagogy classes led by our expert team of teachers. Following each session, participants may attend any of our Floot Fire Summer Camp masterclasses which run concurrently.
